The secret of Monkey Island

The secret of Monkey Island is an adventure game from Lucasarts. It's about Guybrush Threepwood that comes to Meleé Island to become a pirate. To do that he must finish "the three trials" wich is swordfighting, treasure hunting and stealing. While he is doing the trials he meets the governor on the island, Elaine Marley and falls in love with her. When he has finished the trials the ghost pirate Lechuck kidnappes Elaine to his hideout on Monkey Island. Guybrush decides to get a ship too sail to Monkey Island and rescue her. When he finally arrives there he must find Elaine and kill Lechuck. The cannibals on the island tells him that Lechuck lives in a giant monkeyhead, and the only thing that can kill Lechuck is rootbeer from a special root. When he has the rootbeer and is about to kill Lechuck he has gone to Meleé Island to marry Elaine. Guybrush goes back there with his rootbeer and is ready to kill...

Monkey Island is a great game with nice graphics, very good music and a good interface.
