Day Of The Tentacle
Day Of The tentacle is an adventure game from lucasarts. It is the sequel to the old adventure game "Maniac Manison". In this game Bernard gets a letter from his old friend Green Tentacle about a purple tentacle that has been drinking something strange, and wants to take over the world. Bernard, Hoagie and Laverne goes to the manison, and they must go back in time to prevent Purple Tentacle to drink the stuff. But something goes wrong, and Hoagie is sent long back in time and Laverne is sent forward. To get back to the present time they must make a super-battery to plug in the time machine and also find a crystal to make it work again. But when they have fixed that, Purple Tentacle and hundreds of Purple Tentacle-clones from other times comes to stop them. But, since the good guys always beats the bad guys, Bernard, Hoagie and Laverne destroys Purple Tentacle and can go home safely.
Day Of The tentacle is a great game with good graphics, good plot, the great SCUMM interface and a lot of humor.
